WFS Covid 19 Edition

The entire sports industry is being directly affected by the Covid-19 health crisis, including football. Schedules have been disrupted since the beginning of 2020, as competitions have had to be postponed or cancelled.

Now, as the confinements are ending and countries are cautiously returning to normality, the World Football Summit, in collaboration with SPSG Consulting and with the participation of WFS Advisory Board members (among other key stakeholders), aimed to gauge the overall impact of the crisis on the football industry, analysing its effects on different football stakeholders and their revenue streams. and the estimated impact of Covid19 by geographic area. This report also considers some of the key opportunities for the football industry post Covid19.
